ASR is currently working on a new look for TKTS and Father Duffy Square. The New York
Times states, "The steps will be made of three-layer laminated glass panels, one-and-a-half inches thick. They will be 45 feet wide at the top, tapering to 32 feet. The treads will be two feet deep, almost twice as deep as those at the Met. Panels under the steps will supply heat to melt snow and cooling for the light-emitting diodes that will illuminate the entire staircase. Glass panels will border the edges" (NY Times, May 2,2006).

ASR along with Bovis Lend Lease is currently constructing a new Swimming Pool and Ice Rink in Flushing Meadow Park. This most unusual complex serves the sports needs of the City and includes an Olympic dimensioned pool with a state-of-the-art moveable pool floor for flexible swimming and seating for several hundred spectators, an ice skating rink that has bleachers for over 400 spectators, meeting/social rooms, a 3-story atrium Lobby, wet and dry classrooms, full separate locker facilities for swimming and skating, outdoor sun decks and a high diving board.

ASR was awarded the Sports Lighting for the new New York Mets Stadium, to be known as Citi Field. The new stadium will combine state-of-the-art technology with traditional appearance of a classic national league ball park. It is being built on approximately 550,000 sq. ft. on what is currently the Shea Stadium parking lot. The stadium will contain nine levels of seating, concessions, bars, restaurants and luxury boxes and is scheduled to open in April 2009.

ASR along with Bovis Lend Lease is currently working on the new 5-story, 140,000 sq. ft. addition to New York Presbyterian Hospital – The Milstein Heart Hospital. This new ambulatory care building will incorporate state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment options and will also provide NYPH the opportunity to shift research, clinical care and education to an ambulatory setting. This strategy will provide for the next generation of minimally invasive techniques, as well as provide a leadership position for the hospital with regards to cardiology education, focus on translational research and integration of research and clinical medicine in cardiac care.

ASR along with Skanska is currently working on The St. George Ferry Terminal, at the northeastern tip of Staten Island. The renovation will include improvements to the inter-modal transportation connections, vehicular and pedestrian access, vehicular barriers, emergency power, and a new state-of-the-art security system and aquarium.
